Inaccurate good for me

The drill bit was not sharpened correctly from the factory and it drilled a hole way bigger than it should have. It should drill .492" dia and it drilled .509"!l

  • Used for 6160 aluminum drill hole exactly to size

  • Requires more force and pressure to use compared to standard drill bits

Like a hot knife through butter

This bit is proof (in a good way) that you get what you pay for. Needed to fabricate a water fitting for a temp gauge in my project car. Burned through 4 sub-standard bits in a drill press before getting this bit. Only took about 10 seconds to do the job with this bit. Highly recommended!

  • Not 5mm, but 4.9mm. I can’t fit a 5mm rod in a 4.9mm hole.

Beautiful Bit - my new review

I needed a unique size bit for a special project, but could not find one locally. Assumed a mail order bit was not likely to be of the best quality, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality and have to function perfectly. I thin it will last longer than my use for it will last. That means I'll never have to buy a replacement.

  • Drilled 30 holes through 3/8" steel tube without any issues.
Cons
  • Broke when I was drilling the 2nd hole. I have so many drills and none broke in 2nd hole.

The ad says 5.2mm, the label on the package says 5.2mm. The drills are etched with 5.5mm.Fortunately I spotted this before drilling the holes for a 6x1.00mm tap.

arrived dull, became dull after a few seconds again

I bought the drill to drill out a bolt stuck in a cylinder head.Drill arrived literally dull, not sharp as everybody would expect. Then I sharpened the drill and used it.Drilled less than 1/16 of an inch before it got dull again. No quality at all.

Accurate Sizing - 10mm bit measured 9.99mm with digital caliper

I needed to drill a 10mm hole in aluminum, and this bit worked nicely. The bit is well made, with clean grinding, good cutting edges on the twist, and good grinding at the point. I measured the bit diameter with a digital caliper, and the 10mm bit measured 9.99mm which is excellent. Would buy it again.
