Misleading Power Claims - Disappointing Product

I purchased this alternator for my automotive project and was extremely let down. Through trial and error, I found that the power output claims were greatly exaggerated. This product did not perform as advertised and I ended up having to replace it with a different brand.

great product for starters and alternators

This alternator was used on a 74 Nova with a 350 SBC and is direct bolt on. At first I thought it wouldn't work, found that some fuses had blown after I reconnected the ground clip to the battery. The only problem I have with the product itself is that it doesn't start charging until the engine hits 3000 rpm, but after that it works fine at any engine speed. He also completed the engine with a look.

BUYER BEWARE, the third time it wasn't sweet. VERY UNSATISFIED

I have had three of these generators. I have to loosen half of the case screw to "clock" incorrectly - a common practice. The screw holding the halves broke when I tried to unscrew them on the first and third generators. The second and third have bearing noises. I called the manufacturer and they cited the fact that "I must have turned them back to front" until I reassured them that I've been working on cars longer than he's been alive and I certainly know the difference between a left-hand and
