BUYER BEWARE, the third time it wasn't sweet. VERY UNSATISFIED

I have had three of these generators. I have to loosen half of the case screw to "clock" incorrectly - a common practice. The screw holding the halves broke when I tried to unscrew them on the first and third generators. The second and third have bearing noises. I called the manufacturer and they cited the fact that "I must have turned them back to front" until I reassured them that I've been working on cars longer than he's been alive and I certainly know the difference between a left-hand and a right-hand thread. not to mention how I performed this operation. So the blame was laid on "Loctite"? I don't understand why use Loctite in this application at all. But no other explanation was offered. I will buy a "quality" generator elsewhere. I've only tried three because I'm a GM dealer and I think their stamp on the part means something. Obviously not with PROFORM generators.
