Cheap Junk best in my review

You would think, from the photos on here, there is a protective plastic lens going across the front of the LED lights, right?. Well there's not. The photos are very deceiving.TOTAL misrepresentation of their product, with their inaccurate photos.It's just a cheap looking rubbery feeling LED light strip, that you can buy at any Pep-Boys or car parts store, the gets taped to the hood protector. And it's fully exposed to the weather. I can't imagine, this piece of junk, ever making it through a…

Good deal for the price.

I like how this looks on my Jeep! It was very easy to install and the lights are brighter than I expected. It definitely deflects wind (and hopefully bugs along with it) because I notice a LOT more vibration out of my soft top. I bought this to replace a different one that cracked after a few months (different brand and style) so I hope it holds up better. It is only held on with 2 sides tape. I think it should also snap into the hood latches.

Great hood shield best in my review

The AVS is always a trusted brand.The instructions were not specific to a jeep. The instructions need to provide a recommendation for drill size since the adhesive may not be sufficient to hold the shield in place.Need to update product description stating that drilling will be required.

Did Not Fit On Hood - Plastic Warped

I was excited to get the hood protector but the plastic was warped and would not align and fit on my hood properly. I have a 2020 Wrangler JL and was the proper one but just did not fit. I liked the design. Unfortunately, it didn't fit.

I should have listened

The reviews said it did not stick but I took a chance. Well I suck because the light strip fell off and Im hoping my MacGyver (Gorilla glue) will resolve the situation. Of course because of the issues I saw listed, I floored the instructions to a T.

Fits like a glove good for me

Easy to install and it fits my Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon perfectly. Nice textured finish that compliments the hood lines.

I Really Like This Ventshade!

Looks Awesome on my 2021Rubicon, love the LED Lights. Easy install if you follow directions. I suggest youwatch the install video. Paid extra to have a pro do the wiring. Didn't want to risk messing up the wiring in a $50,000+ vehicle. I recommend.

Doesn’t match pictures at all

I bought this thinking that it would be the textured black part in both of the pictures, instead I got smoked/see through black and I can’t return because I wrapped it as a gift and I’m past the return date

Adhesion isn’t that great

It looks cool, but after 5 days I noticed that parts of it are no longer sticking to the jeep. I cleaned and prepped just as the directions explained. Not sure how long it’s going to last on it.

Easy and solid in my review

Went on in 10 minutes and fit perfectly. Self adhesive tape and screws were provided for strong fix not sure what some of the other reviews were talking about I like it!
