Description of Proto Pasta CDP11705 Composite Conductive 1 75

High electrical conductivity of 15ohm-cm suitable for lighting LEDs, touch sensors and other electronics. Comes on fully corrugated recyclable spool with standard dimension. Dark Black in color with good printing on PLA machines. Processing is comparable to standard PLA. No heated bed required, but it may improve results. Process may be less consistent on smaller nozzles (<4mm) and/or Bowden-type machines. We recommend printing this material at 220c-230c using a 4 mm or larger nozzle. Please note that this filament is more brittle than normal PLA and requires more careful handling to prevent breakage. Designed and manufactured in the USA with quality and as top priorities. USA-sourced packaging and labor.

Inconsistent and headache for my printer.

I am using this to print capacitive touch panels for a product I am making. Once it's set up, print quality is pretty good, although there is some sacrifice in durability and layer adhesion compared to regular PLA. It really makes the number on the injectors. Filament cleaning is not effective. I ended up resorting to simply changing tips after using this material. I am using the 3rd coil and it is not compatible with the first two. It seems almost twice as brittle as the others and keeps…

I would give conductive PLA 4.5 stars if I could. It's a little pricey, but I only use it for small limited runs. It worked great for the responsive stylus I was typing: http://kfkdesigns.com/stylus/. I followed the manufacturer's recommendations and increased the print temperature (basically treating it like ABS) and it printed fine on my Simple Metal. I also used a heated platform just to prevent unwanted buckling. I noticed two downsides to the filament: (1) reduced layer adhesion (always at

plastic solder! I'm a happy customer.

This is exactly what I wanted. I can use it as a low temperature solder and apply it directly to the metal wire to make low resistance connections. This plastic seems a little less stiff than regular PLA, I didn't find brittleness to be an issue. vary depending on the voltage potential on the plastic. Measuring the resistance of my first circuit (without connecting voltage of course) disappointed me with a very high number; However, when I turned on the device and the LEDs flashed, I wasn't…
