Description of PRUNUS Handlebar Ergonomic Antislip Mountain

Inexpensive but High Quality: Don't let the price fool you, they are great; easy to fit and very comfy on the hands. Classical Design: Black and grey, classics never go out of style. Easy to Install: There are only two components for each mountain bike, 1) bicycle grips, just slide the bike handlebar grip onto your bike; 2) handlebar, and then put the plug in the handlebar end. Comfortable in use: Made of TPR rubber material, which is soft and cushiony while providing non-slip grip, for improved riding safety. Notes: 1) PRUNUS ergonomic bike grips fit any regular handlebar (22.2mm diameter). 2)Applying some soap on your bike handlebar will make it easier to install the bike handlebar grips.

Don't lie down. rotates

Well made handle but it rotates and won't stay in place. Installed on a Trek MT220 mountain bike with shifters. It slides easily and fits into the shift knobs, but twists and turns with very little effort, rendering them completely unusable. I missed the return window as I didn't have a chance to install them until recently. waste of money.

  • Good product for the price
Cons

Solid construction and easy installation

Looks good on my Ghost SquareCross. Much nicer quality than expected. Easy to install and tighten after I cut off the stock grips and cleaned the bars with rubbing alcohol. I work with motorcycles and bicycles and people often overtighten things and then complain about stripped or broken bolts/threads. Don't over-tighten (you can always tighten a little more if it gets loose). Use the small end of the hex wrench designed for your hand and the long end to actually tighten the hex bolt; This…

Great grip for bikes with micro front twist derailleur - good fit

Bought this for my kid's bike. Be sure to use the correct length measurement for a good fit. Good overall quality and comfortable grip as you can rest your palm on the thicker part of the grip. Very useful for occasional drivers. Also, make sure to apply some hairspray to the inside of the handle when installing it. This makes it easier to create and adjust the setup. Leave on for about 30 minutes and the hairspray will finally dry and you're done, as they say. "Good to go!".

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good replacement grips - no pegs

Installs on a Specialized Sport Disc. Pour isopropyl alcohol on the inside of the grips and they will set and stick immediately after the alcohol has evaporated quickly. Do not use soap as the seller recommends, otherwise it will never remain on the steering wheel. The handles are quite soft and the ergonomic "rest" supports the palms of the hands well. Satisfactory replacement for the worn out original equipment ergonomic grips. The only downside is that the included earplugs are made of hard…

Great for short lived shifters

Bought a pair of smaller knobs that work well on a bike with two shifters. My hands and wrists feel a lot better after long rides than they did with the stock cranks that came with my bike. I sprayed the knobs and handles with hairspray before installing, they slide on easily and stay in place. Instructions are minimal, but there are plenty of helpful YouTube videos to learn from. Excellent value for a hard to find size that is compatible with a handgrip switch. Update 5/2020. The light gray…

Non-slip grips

I'm mainly looking for new grips to relieve my wrists. I ride my mountain bike on different roads. I read that these ergonomic grips are good and this company had a) my height is 90mm b) a great price. They were very easy to install. I wanted to like them, but after 10 minutes of driving on a hot day, my hands get sweaty. Those grips were almost like a bar of soap! Luckily I only put one on to try out so I can steer the bike with my left hand. I was concerned that if there was a bump I might…

Decent BUT DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Decent quality handles but not soft. Better than stock at Schwinn. DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. (I didn't know because I know better) THEY CLEARLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BICYCLES. THEY SUGGEST USING "SOAP AND WATER OR OIL" TO MAKE THE CLAMPS EASIER. This is the worst thing you can do as it will make her slip again. They will be useless as handles. Pros use alcohol, commercial evaporative sprays, or even hairspray to make the handlebars slippery for a short time as it dries…

*** Ideal for bikes equipped with "Grip Shifter " - easy to install ***

My wife's hands always fell asleep when we went on long rides together, so I decided to do something for them to find the more is practical. These pens are very well made and don't look like the typical "Made in China" crap that Revain oversaturates. Even if you have mirrors or bar counters, they also go well with it. *Cm. Photo installation is very easy just by following these few simple instructions. 1) Apply some dish soap to it with a thin butter knife, then gently slide it under your old…

90mm shorter handlebars - perfect for my bike mirror/derailleur. The grips are thick, ergonomically comfortable, and open at both ends, which is preferable when using handlebar mirrors. Attempting to cut a custom closed end handle can look ridiculous if not done properly with the right tool. A few quick tips that might help. My old grips had small holes on the end - see photo with the black arrow pointing to the hole. I turned on my air compressor and using a rubber tipped gun I was able to use
