The fact that it is fabric and not nylon makes a big difference in feel and performance. It's a bit wider than the other load I bought which is also an improvement. I have no problem getting them tangled if one of my dogs decides to chase them off the leash! I have a new 10lb lifebuoy and the weight suits her. The pivot bolt is strong but not too heavy. Very good product. I highly recommend this line.

I bought this particular item once (three years ago). We would like. Outstanding durability. When ours started to wear out I went back and ordered the same one again. The quality of the new one is NOT at all on the same level as the product I bought over 3 years ago. The clip was different, the material is thinner, the stitching is not as strong as in the previous case. We were disappointed that the quality of a once great product was not maintained.

We have several of these leashes of various lengths that we use on our dog all the time and they are very comfortable. He can run and work out on this 50ft lead while we walk in the park and still technically lead. He can chase/fetch toys and we still have him under control. I love this leash it's orange. I only use it when I'm ball and ball training my neighbor's 3 year old German Shepherd. That's incredible! Sometimes my bare legs/ankles (it's a hot summer now) are exposed to that line at high speed when Sir Cubby Dog is chasing the ball and _it_ doesn't_ give me rope burns, so hooray! I've always had 3 or 4 large dogs at a time. They weigh between 80 and 120 pounds and I can't leash them all at once. I live in Maine, I have at least 100 acres of woods behind my house and we walk the trails 6 to 8 times a day. I always use an e-collar on these walks, but if one (or two) of them have jumped on me recently, I'll keep these leashes for a week or so until I feel like they're under control again.
