There are several great laptop bags - you need something that doesn't require you to carry a separate bag with you. This one does the job well and is of a very high quality compared to other bag organizers I've bought in the past and ended up donating to charity - some because they were poorly designed, some because they were poorly constructed. There seem to be hard plastic inserts on the sides to help hold shape, and enough pockets for all the things I always carry: wallet, keys, and coin box
