I have bought two of these devices. One for my living room and one for my AV gear in the basement because they have two 10G SFP+ ports and are fanless. I am using a Netgear M430024x24f switch as my primary 10G switch and have been running 9/125 fiber in each site and using Netgear compatible adapters (AXM762 10GBASE-LR SFP+) and everything is working. I was a little worried reading reviews that SFP ports didn't work with some Intel NICs, but mine worked on first try, no setup required. Fanless operation means it's quiet in operation (great for a home office!), and the LEDs are no more distracting than any other switch. be right about the money
