Keeps my 8 lb Yorkie warm. It takes a little practice to put it on and zip it up and then pull your legs up, but once you get the hang of it you'll be fine. Be sure to give the pup a treat for wearing it and he'll soon get used to it. On particularly cold days I put a t-shirt on him as a precaution, but that's just an extra precaution as he's sensitive to the cold. I bought this coat to keep snowballs out of my dog's coat. He is a 48 pound Gordon Setter. I ordered XL according to the measurements given and it fits perfectly. I really like this product but we are using it for the second winter (in Russia) and the elastic cords for leg sizing are unraveling and fraying. They then get stuck in the small pieces of plastic that hold the elastic cords, making it almost impossible to adjust the width of the legs.
