Performance in tube fittings

As a plumber, this valve is not very hard to find in any store. Double quarter-turn shut-off valve makes it very convenient to use, especially in hard-to-reach places. You can turn off one water line while the other keeps working. I love it. It's worth it

Pros
  • Outstanding overall performance
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

No wrenches for heavy plumbing

So far, so good. The valves seem to work fine. The big problem is that the case doesn't have any flats to put a wrench on. I had to use a pipe wrench and it ruined the chrome finish. Expensive for something poorly designed and manufactured

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Little things

So far so good in the tube fittings

Got this when installing the dishwasher. It was nice to be able to turn off the water in the line to the dishwasher but still be able to pipe hot water to the sink. Now if I have a problem with my dishwasher, turn it off and work on it while others can use the kitchen normally.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good quality/looks my favorite brand

Whenever I renovate my old house I install a Keeney quarter turn valve. Quarter turn valves are the only way out and I've always had great results with Keeney parts. This time he replaced a valve that served both the sink and the dishwasher.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

There was a mess under the kitchen sink with pipes added over time to keep water out drain the dishwasher. I removed the unnecessary tubing and threaded it onto 1/2" steel tubing. It's nice to have a check valve for each fixture compared to valves that have one check and two exhaust ports. It was the perfect solution!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great for deactivating items one by one!

Exactly as described. Easy to install and works GREAT! It's so nice to be able to turn off every single element connected to the water pipes. In our case, we connected hot to the kitchen faucet and dishwasher: cold to the kitchen faucet and water filtration system. In the event of a problem, we can only disable the affected item and not all at once. Good product!

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Crumpled

Quality product but not quite perfect design

This is the only decent quality 1/4 turn double ball valve I could find. It is made by Keeney Manufacturing in Connecticut. 1/2" FIP on iron pipe to two 3/8" compression. The main reason I say the design isn't perfect is that there are no flat sides or a hex neck to catch the adjustable wrench. I ended up having to tighten it with a pipe wrench and left tooth marks on the valve stem. Looks well installed and works well.

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • No instructions

The valve is excellent but the internal thread needs extra care

This product was just what I needed to keep the sink and dishwasher hot water. I used a 1/2" male bolt to connect to this valve. I had a problem using teflon tape as it had a very serious leak. Then I used teflon pipe grease. Much better but always had still a slow leak. I was ready to return the valve but after about a day the leak stopped and everything has been fine for several days. As I rarely have problems with brass to brass connections I assume that the fit between the external threads…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
