Lysol Straw Brush - Great Price

Best price among straw brushes. An absolute must if like me you like to drink through a straw. If the price stays the same I will order another set. Not the cheap ones that reusable straws come with [thin wire], these straw brushes are powerful but can be used on the narrowest of straws. I have a set of large glass straws and thin stainless steel straws and this straw brush works equally well with either.

Great for the thinker's straw!

These brushes are great. They go well with the thinker straws that come with my son's Zak! Designs Tritan Mason Jar Tumbler with Screw Top and Straw Featuring Mario Bros. Graphics, BPA Free High Impact Plastic, 19 oz. Cups. These brushes are designed for thicker straws, not thin ones. It also works with Thermos Funtainers but not thinner. i love pens They're actually more comfortable to move than any other brush I've used. I will for sure buy more.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad technique

Large Bristles - Cleaner

These are very heavy and are great for straws or metal straws. I bought these to clean leak proof straw cups and sometimes they fit and sometimes they are too big. Still a great product although it doesn't always meet my needs. I would love to love them, but they just don't work for my purpose. I can only use them with a leak proof straw and I can't even clean the lid because the cleaner is too big. I reach for my old ones 9 times out of 10.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Empty

This purchase was a waste for me. They are too big for regular straws. If you have big straws, do this. They are very strong. We have two solid straws, one made of plastic and the other made of stainless steel. I can't get these brushes out of plastic at all. I can push them in enough to remove about 80% of the metal working from both ends. I will just be buying more like the first two straw brushes I had. Due to the large middle part of the brush, it is inconvenient to use.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • A long time ago

Metal Straws and Bottle Brushes

No substitute for this review These brushes are durable and well made. I use curved metal straws for cleaning (NOT because plastic straws are illegal where I live, or I might add) and they are way better than the ones that come with a cup and straw. Lysol 57112 Straw & Bottle Brush 4-Pack, Slightly Larger, Acceptable, and Has Bristle. Don't like the slight bend in the straw, so the straws are open at both ends. They are also easy to hold onto. The only problem is that 4 packs will last me for…

Ideal for cleaning stainless steel straws, reusable plastic straws

They used to be called percolator brushes because you used them to clean the hose that sent coffee into the coffee basket of your electric or stovetop coffee maker. They're great for cleaning the plastic and stainless steel straws I use in my travel mugs. (Plastic straws seem to slip through and ruin plastic recycling equipment or something. And valet didn't allow soda straws on the National Mall for years -- they said the straws just ended up being trash everywhere.) With a little soap and…

Best for Contigo spill-proof cups

I was looking for the right straw cleaner for my Contigo AUTOSPOUT Straw Striker Baby Water Bottle 14 oz Light Blue. I have tried a set of Munchkin cleaning brushes, 1 set and a Rubbermaid tube brush. Right off the bat, the Rubbermaid tube brush is too big and doesn't work. A Munchkin with a blue handle was the right size, but the brush bent too easily and the handle fell off after a few weeks. Finally, the Lysol product does the trick. It is wider than a blue Munchkin-handled wand and fits…
