Radar Mount Mirror Bracket Wire Review

I bought the same one for another car a few years ago. The last mount I bought did NOT include a pigtail for connecting to a dimming mirror or overhead console or whatever you want to call it. Then I had to buy an extra set of cables for the radar detector that GODDESS was to install; I had to remove the A-pillar trim, route the wires to the fuse box on the kick panel with one touch, a setup that still annoys me. lol. I only have one complaint about this product. The mirror cable actually comes with two adapters/extensions in case the cables are too thick to fit the connector. Unfortunately, on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track, even the smaller taps were too big for my connector. I had to take a rotary tool with a sanding nozzle and carefully cut off the taps. Once I did that, the faucets went straight into the outlet and were held in place. After installing the faucets I followed the instructions to…

I am now changing my rating based on what happened. Probes are very, very thin. After about 3 months in the car, the negative pole broke. The positive still works. I'm not happy with this, but I was at least able to rebuild it to use a backup tap. This works, but for some reason the mirror needs power. When installing this you NEED to know which pins in your connection are ground and power. If not, then you need to watch that. On the Honda Civic, these are brown (+) and black (-). Make the…
