On-site reviews.

One star ratings are true. You get one that is right and one that is wrong. In the end we kept them and reused an original hand; We sprayed matching paint as we should have.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Doesn't fit everyone

DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY

I finally got around to installing them on my 1991 Jeep YJ. First, the arms are at completely different angles, which makes them look crooked, which looks so ridiculous I don't even want to control it. I am so disgusted with this purchase and the quality of the Rampage product.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Working speed

DO NOT BUY! in Body & Trim

DO NOT BUY! I bought this in September 2017. Now May 2018. I'm trying to install, there are no instructions and the mirror mounts are different. Different angles, different heights. The mirrors you receive do not match the picture. In the photo the hands are the same, but you get 2 different hands in the mail. The angles are completely wrong and different from each other.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Terrible. Installed them on 94 YJ and they are.

Terrible. I installed them on a 94 YJ and they just won't mount directly to a window or door. One hand pointed down while the other was normal. My guess is that the hole in the arm wasn't drilled properly. Even if they are completely stupid, they do not have a very good viewing angle. Even as the hardware is tightened beyond what seems necessary, the mirror shake makes what's almost invisible at highway speeds visible. The plastic bushings that hold the mirror shaft also make the most…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Periodicity

These are normal mirrors but they are misadjusted for the Jeep YJ with soft doors. The arms are too short and don't move in or out to allow for better customization. The passenger mirror is not visible and cannot be adjusted for use. They're easy to install, so I'm not giving them a star. Even the driver's side is difficult to adjust practically. I need to order better mirrors. I think you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something different

You're Only Good If You Never Drive Your Jeep

Ok Where Do I Start? I would never buy these again. When you do, just unwrap them, take them outside, and place them under your Jeep's tires. Shift into 1st gear in your jeep, run into the mirrors, and then back up by driving into them again. Do this as many times as necessary to completely blur them out like mirrors. Once you've done that, run them a few more times to be on the safe side. You're only good if you never drive your jeep. You can be the woman who drives her Jeep to the nail salon,

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Reliability
