Not only is this scoop durable, but it has a rubber blade that sits so close to the ground that it picks up dirt, cat litter, crumbs and even broken glass fall entirely within the palette. It far outperforms plastic or even large bulky ones. It's attractive and just the right size for home use. It was packaged so securely that it could not be damaged in transit. The product lived up to expectations and I love it except for the big ugly UPC sticker that can't be removed without damaging the finish. The biggest POS I have ever bought. Didn't know you could ruin a scoop. But here. The weakest, wobbly and crooked shovel on the market. It will - I repeat - NOT pick up dirt or dust of any kind.
