Simply slipped onto the trunk of my towbar and still impressed. It fits perfectly. The bag is nice and big and actually holds more than I could strap on without the bag. The zipper fits snugly under the velcro fold of the rubber top of the bag. It will definitely stay dry. It also has tie straps. Excellent purchase.

Well first of all I really like the size of this roof bag. I was able to fit what I usually carry in the back of my SUV on the roof racks. So I was able to take more with me on family vacations. From Michigan to Georgia everything stayed dry, on the way there and back it rained heavily. This bag is a real champion and for the price you can't go wrong. I read many reviews before purchasing and I'm glad I did.

We used this bag when moving from California to Arizona. It holds a ton of stuff and stayed strong on my expedition roof for 500 miles. I checked several times, it went nowhere. No noise, no bang. I don't know if we will ever use it again but for the price it was good value and I would recommend it. There was no bad weather, so I can't speak about that aspect. Easily attaches to my rack, holds tons, doesn't move or make noise. Good buy.

This bag was perfect for a week long trip across southern Germany to the French Alps. It kept everything dry and clean. It's made from a fairly strong material, which can make it a bit difficult to zip up, especially in the corners. The only thing that confuses me is the lack of an internal frame or anything to keep it upright when loaded. I'll probably have to mold something out of PVC. We bought this for a 2500 mile round trip to Florida. It worked great and had plenty of space. When I loaded in New Jersey it was cold and the bag was in the garage making it difficult to handle and close. In Florida that wasn't a problem, it was easy to handle and close. Completely unimpressed with this product. Waste of money unfortunately but we threw away the original packaging so I stuck with it. The material is CHEAP. The straps it comes with are complete crap and we almost lost our bag on the road in a few minutes.
