YOUR CHOICE OF FAUCET: The Ready Hot water dispenser comes with an open vented single lever hot water faucet or dual lever hot/cold faucet in your choice of Brushed Nickel or Chrome. You can also buy the tank separately, but it does require an open vented faucet to operate. OPEN VENTED FAUCET: Ready Hot water dispensers are designed to work with open vent faucets only. Use of any other type of faucet will void the warranty. HOT WATER ON DEMAND: Ideal for home, office, restaurants, cafeterias, or wherever instant hot water is needed. Make instant hot tea, coffee, soup, oatmeal or cook noodles al dente. Also great for loosening stubborn jar lids and warming baby bottles. AUTOMATED TANK PROTECTION: The automated water heater includes a self-resetting thermal fuse that prevents tank burnout in case of accidental dry startup. ENERGY EFFICENT: Uses less electricity than a 40-watt lightbulb and comes with a pre-installed power cord.

The first lasted 14 months.

. my first, in which only warm water is dosed. The new one was shot in less than 4 minutes and so far so good. Well it's been 5 weeks now and it's not working. DO NOT BUY THIS. I can't contact anyone to help. UPDATE: After draining the tank completely and then letting it run for 10 minutes, the temperature reached 180F. Not perfect but works well.

mounting holes were sealed; had to pry open with a screwdriver - plastic case problem

Bought to replace another brand that failed after 3 years. Great price, fast delivery, good instruction manual, easy to install after I punched the mounting holes. More than most other brands; can be a problem when the available mounting space is limited. I like the indicator light that shows when the water is hot; changes from green to red when the water is hot and back to green when it is hot.

Operation not possible at declared safety temperature

Steams and splashes around boiling water without warning. You have to be careful when using the sink, or maybe let it run for a while at first. However, I also have very small grandchildren who will not understand this. Every company's solution is to lower the temperature. I used 2 different digital thermometers to test the temperature in a pre-heated coffee mug (so the temperature was checked instantly as it filled the glass in the center and also the sides and bottom of the mug.
