terrible instructions. We have a torsion bar system, it did a bit of googling to figure out how it works. Once we understood what we were doing, installation was quick and easy. The light is amazing, such a difference from what we had. I really like the color temperature settings.

Very easy installation - took less than half an hour to install 6. The light is a very nice color and looks a lot cleaner than my old black holes in the ceiling. There is a very brief moment between pressing the switch and turning on the light, but it is so insignificant that it does not bother.

1 - Note the wire spring has a slot for easy adjustment 2 - The friction spring has only two holes. I had to bend the friction spring a lot. My 1990's glasses didn't die from a wire spring.3 - It was nice to be able to change the color of the light, but we ended up building a 3000,000 house with dimmers.

They are actually quite cute. Especially for the price. The choice of color temperature is good, but maybe too far apart in my opinion. You get 3k, 4k and 5k. 5k is too hard and too white for living spaces. 4k questionable. This is not a civilian searchlight 97 people! 2700k would be nice. Installation is also quite easy. Replaced five CA 24 Daylight Halo LED ceiling lights (3m ceiling), too long, just too harsh white light, better suited for a garage. These were the ones that had ballast installed at the top. I simply cut and spliced together the adapters from the new bulbs, dialed in the warmest setting and voila! Great warm soft white light in the kitchen. Plenty of five lumens, well illuminates the entire headroom.

Very satisfied with these LED lights. We used it to retrofit old 6" mounting boxes. Two types of clamps are included in the package to meet different mounting needs. Most LED bulbs require you to preselect the color temperature without seeing your eyes. They fit nicely in my recessed lights after I swapped out the mount for a spring mount (quick/easy task). Being able to choose the heat is especially helpful as I was able to customize to my taste and didn't have to worry about the color beforehand. I was planning to replace a broken Sunco downlight with this product. I screwed on the spring clips but couldn't mount the device. I was confused because they looked like Sunco spring clips but didn't work. It takes an engineer to understand the problem, but the combination of spring wire gauge, number of spring coils, spring length, and adapter dimensions makes it a poor design. Failed to load media. I really wanted to like these headlights. I tried to reduce heat loss with recessed lights. I measured a 5°F difference in temperature in a jar versus the ceiling a few inches away and even felt the airflow show heat escaping through my ceiling. The lights were easy to install: after reading the instructions, I was able to install them in less than 5 minutes, including replacing the attached clips with the springs my glasses require.
