Does what it should.

It worked. I used it to mount a 1-1/4" Thule Xpressway bike rack. The bike rack wobbled and moved a lot in the hitch and I got rid of the whole setup but the two times I used it it worked and didn't work. fell.

  • Sturdy construction

Works as advertised

Does the job for my bike rack. I bought a trailer hitch tensioner based on several reviews, but never used it. I don't understand the extra game people are talking about. This block fits my stock 2011 Nissan Pathfinder hitch like a glove. My bike rack is from Thule.

  • Nice to use

As others have said it's loose

My rack was 1 1/4" and was tight with very little movement (on my SRX). I have an Infiniti QX50 with a 2" receiver and needed this extension as the receiver is way below the bumper. The game is more than twice the size of my old rig. Certainly different manufacturers should allow different tolerances. Should be the best standard among OEMs. Everything else looks great. I guess I need to find the right clamps to hold the down moves.

Well-made Adapter - Exterior Accessory

The Reese 7052500 Adapter allows you to attach a 1-1/4" bike rack to a 2" receiver. It's been well done long enough. My only complaint is that the 1-1/4" female end of the receiver is too big for the 1-1/4" male end of my bike rack. The result is a sloppy connection and some bike rack movement. I solved this problem by attaching the bike rack with a ratchet strap. Not the end of the world, but slightly tighter tolerances would make sense with this adapter.

It's good for the money.

Used for 1.25" bike rack on MDX with factory Reece 2". The adapter is longer than I think necessary, meaning the rear has a mechanical advantage. That said, the rack bounces a little more than it should. It's a little loose which means the bike will wobble back and forth. None of that matters as I don't ride cross country. I would spend $$ and get a 2" rack. I only mention this because I think cross country riders might consider it. It works great for me and again, the money was right. This is…

Don't trust this thing

It matched my truck perfectly. I thought it would be a good product to attach my bike rack to the back of a road trailer and it worked, but it's good that I use 5 ratchet straps around the bumper. Trailer to keep the bikes and trunk from bouncing because when I went to unload the bikes I found the adapter broke all over the weld, the tube broke so it wasn't attached to the trailer, just slipped out thank goodness do i have zipper ties on bikes or could crash and lose $1,500 on bikes, and only…

I usually assume that bad reviews are written by people who haven't read the instructions or have unrealistic expectations. And most of the time I'm right. Not this time. This item has many reviews stating it is MUCH different in terms of processing tolerances. There should be an adapter from 2" to 1/4". It's closer to 1.75 inches by 1 inch (although I suspect individual results will vary widely). None of the endings are even remotely as they should be. I have a hitch tensioner on the 2" side…

  • Definitely a bad product

It is what it is. for outdoor accessories

. 2" to 1-1/4" hitch receiver converter. What else can you say here? he fits It is difficult. The holes match. So why visit again? Just to add a point, converting the receiver to 1-1/4" usually means you attach something small to the hitch, in my case a Thule bike rack. But this converter extends the hitch by 7 inches and could put your bike rack (or whatever) so far behind your car's rear bumper that you're carrying a significant amount of weight a significant distance from the attachment…
