Ideal for hand tools

Old Craftsman HandiCut. Everything fits well. It was necessary to drill a mounting hole in the anvil for the mounting screw, but that was trivial.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent Blades for Ronan Clipper

I use the blades in my Ronan clipper for trimming bushes and just about anything under 3/4 inch (0.6 cm). . With the included anvil, my 401 is brand new.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Power & Hand Tools Unwanted Items

I've used it a few times and it ripped in two different places. I would not recommend this product. I've had the tool for many years and the craftsman's blades last a long time, they're a bit dull but they don't break.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Low Repairability

Doesn't quite fit Craftsman Handi-Cut

Fine, but the center mounting hole on this version is smaller than the original and will not accept the barrel nut from the original anvil. It's a simple exercise, but why? I just left the old anvil in place and used the new blades. I'll drill it when I have time.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Anvil and blades are ideal.

These blades are very sharp and fit perfectly with my Craftsman 4" model 9+37201 handi-cut shears. I haven't had to change anything. I haven't installed an anvil yet as my old one was good. Just put it make sure you never twist the tool while cutting.I did this with my original blade and it bent.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

LIGHT DUTY for hand tools

I ordered this product to replace the blades on my hand tool that I have owned for years. The new blades are thinner than the ones that came in. I used it to cut branches from trees in the garden. It took me a lot more effort to get them to cut off the small limbs. I will use them but I doubt they will last as long as the old ones.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • unreliable

Must be modified to match!

These are sold as a direct replacement for the Craftsman Handi-Cut. They come in "Multi-Cut" packaging, stating that the blades are made in the USA and the anvil is made in China. Apparently China didn't get the correct size for the screw that holds the anvil in the Handi-Cut handle because the hole in the anvil is too small to fit the set screw that holds it. If you can find a larger drill bit and drill a hole in the anvil for the screw to fit through, then the item will fit. Drilling is notโ€ฆ
