🪒 Remington Smooth & Silky Facial Trimmer for Women, Precision Detail Trimmer MPT3800SSF Review

This is my second purchase of this product. The previous one lasted 2 1/2 years. It is very gentle and shaves very cleanly. I tried replacing it with razors from different manufacturers but these, although more powerful, didn't get close and straightened my hair. I'm angry enough to shave those areas where hair didn't grow before. I get all cranky when they rip my hair out.

While I like the adjustable head angle (although it only tilts in one direction) and the trimmer is very charming with every imaginable detail on the smaller side, I like it not outweigh the likes. The noise from the engine is very annoying, not that I was expecting a quality engine, but you get what you pay for. not very strong either. The data sheet in the owner's manual does not state that for safety reasons, like most clippers/trimmers, one blade moves while the other is stationary. Ideally

This is a replacement for my old model which burned out after 3 years of rebuild. I'm particularly worried about my nose hair - I want it to go away. I usually use another trimmer to trim most hairs down to 1mm and then bring this tool with me. Remington Sleek and Smooth Skin was in a very attractive case. I opened the package and tried to put the AAA battery (included) in the holder. A brand new battery didn't fit in the holder, fell out. When I put on the outer shell. The entire head of the blade fell apart. I carefully tried to put the parts back in place. The blade became detached and could not return to where it was. This REMINGTON product is very poorly made. No wonder it was so cheap. I want a refund for this bad product.

I already had another version of this pink trimmer I bought from Marshall and was looking for a replacement. I tried the Conair trimmer but it didn't give me the close shave that I like about this one. It's really cheap and great for my peachy downy and nose hair, so I'd definitely recommend it if you're considering using it for that. I have used versions of this trimmer for many years. The first two or three I bought were great. The head can be disassembled and clogged hair can be removed. They worked until the blade became dull. After adding an unnecessary whirl to the product, the quality of the mechanisms dropped dramatically.
