Haven't used the metal bottles yet but I used a plastic one and it worked fine. However, they are consumable. After cleaning 3 sinks and 2 showers with a plastic snake, my teeth broke and I threw them away. However, it is much more effective at clogging hair/soaps than drain chemicals, which I don't want to add to my septic system.

I like the idea of getting 5 for about $5. I used to get mad cleaning it after using it to drain the tub and sink. Now I have no negative experiences because I use them once. bath drain, throw. Vanity, stop it. So convenient and makes the process so much better for me because I don't like using a hair filter and having to clean it every time.

I used the first of five clogged drain cleaners to remove hair from my bathtub drain pipe. Sewer cleaner materials are not flexible and strong enough to withstand bends, snags and clogs. The clog cleaner in the photo is broken. Luckily, the cleaner never fully separated until I was able to get it out of the sewer.

Best price I could find and works really well pulling hair out of the drain. We bought our house and the previous owner had crazy long black hair that was very clogging in the shower. It took almost an hour to empty the tub when it was about 3 inches deep. I got a pack of these bad boys and in minutes I fished out something reminiscent of Cousin Ono and a black lagoon creature from my sewers. Problem solved!

These drain cleaners are fantastic - as good as any of the more expensive ones. I was able to remove large strands of hair from the shower and they finally started draining quickly. They are well researched enough to be used a few times before the prongs on the plastic prongs break. I'll have to do some more research on the metal ones to see how they would work best, but they're well made too. Be careful. with your own hands, because they are all very sharp.

The product works like a charm. I'm a Type 4 woman with human hair color who washes her hair in the shower. Unfortunately, this caused my water to drain slowly and eventually stopped coming out altogether. I ordered this product and it worked AMAZING. The water flows faster than ever since I moved here. Highly recommended! The fact that 5 is included makes things even better because I can definitely get multiple uses of 1.
