My truck has never started faster. Installation went as expected but the truck starts IMMEDIATELY. I've only seen VE pump stations start at the push of a button. Now my P-pump too!? Joyful! 10 stars.

I was dreading the arrival of the starters and expecting to get a piece of junk, hardly reasonable as the price at local dealerships was half that. This should actually be a temporary solution until I have rebuilt my original Denso starter. I was very surprised to find that the starter that arrived had been rebuilt by Denso. Looks great and works! Thank you Amazon, once again you have delivered a quality product at a great price.

Perfect for starting a 1998.5 Dodge Ram Cummins. It has no identification tags/stickers etc to indicate it is a Denso starter. However, the castings are identical to the factory castings. The starter works fine. Can't beat the price. The starter was well packaged - there was no damage even though the starter is quite heavy. As for changing the starter - apply penetrating oil to the 3 bolts a few times beforehand if you can - those suction cups are tight.

The starter was a very good new Denso and I was very happy to get it at this price. However, the UPS damaged the signal cable connector and I had to send it back. Unfortunately I didn't have time to wait for a replacement. But I really wish UPS wouldn't damage it! I really disagree with how UPS handles packages and doesn't use them at all! I opened the box and was surprised to find a DENSO starter with a test report listing all the test data. It's heavy, which is good for electric motors. It looks and weighs the same as the original DENSO OEM starter. Note that many other non-DENSO starters in the same price range list 12lbs, this one 18lbs.
