Replacement Cooler Dispenser Plastic Spigot Review

See photo. The spigots fit this Brita style port, but you have to rotate the valve 90 degrees to fully open it. No big deal, just wanted to let others know.

These filters had no washers! Not alone! so that they could leak when you put them on! I ended up having to remove the washers from my old one where the handle broke. NO PUCK ON FOUR (4) of them!

Drilled a 3/4" hole in a 5 gallon food grade bucket and installed a nipple with a washer (included) on each end. Become a beer fermenter. Gateway will be added. We'll see how it handles a little pressure.

Bought to replace the original ds1811z water filter dispenser nozzle, 18 cup dispenser which was leaking after only 2 weeks of use. This new nozzle is not suitable for the Pur dispenser. Decided to fit a new spout to a plastic bucket and turn it into a filtered water dispenser (using a Pur filter and filter canister). It works great! I will buy this product again if needed. Highly recommended +

I did not dare to buy this product because the parts were not complete or the faucet did not fit, but in my case everything turned out as should be described and how seen in the picture fits my Brita filter perfectly. Honestly, I like this faucet more than the one that came with the filter. It's pretty smooth and durable. I don't think it's going to break any time soon **fingers crossed** (well if it does I have 3 more lol). Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

My review may not be perfect. I didn't give much thought to the size of the hole I had to drill in the plastic cover, about 5/8" I think. I used a 3/4 hole saw on one and the flange and gasket covered the hole lightly. The water jars (for plant food) I've used have leaky lids so the water drips a bit, but my main concern is that the faucets are too slow, maybe more, I'd call it a failed experiment on my part.

Hands free valve, why aren't they included with every jug? I swapped 2 of mine. It licks a little, the first day it licked a lot. I take a liter glass to work, on the first day I was only able to fill my mug 3 times with the packed pieces. Luckily I wasn't too thirsty that day. Day 2, today I use the nut and washers from the original, it leaks a lot less, didn't leak at all for four hours. I may need to get some large plastic and silicone washers to really seal it, or use some silicone sealant.
