Great replacement but you should know

Perfect for my incinerator. My model had a fender which requires the removal of all salvage parts. It hurt to clean. I figured I could just pull out the old one and put this one up there. You will need to use a razor blade, cut the baffle out of the gasket, and reuse the gasket to reinstall the disposal. Smooth sailing afterwards!

missing! for Garbage Disposal Parts

Assembly was a bit fiddly, but that's because it fits the drain very tightly. Considering I changed the old one because it fell into recycling every now and then, it was worth the effort! Now that it's here, it's a huge upgrade. I saw another review that said they had trouble getting things through the slats but for me using a spray head on my sink all worked fine.

Excellent noise reduction, leftover food will not fall off by itself without help.

This reflector is great for noise reduction. The only downside is that food waste won't sink unless you use a utensil to open the slot in the center so they can pass through. It's very hard and the hole is maybe the size of a coin. I even trimmed mine to fix the problem but that didn't help. It also suppresses noise very well.

Not a perfect match - dirt remover and parts

This sink strainer is not a perfect match for the latest generation of firebox waste bins. The assembly is simple (pull out the old one and then put in the new one), but it is very loose. It appears to be a millimeter or two smaller in diameter - hence it doesn't "snap" in place, but just sits there and rotates in the hole. I wish the original part would fit better.

Durable rubber, good grip

This is a replacement for my Waste King fender. It's a durable rubber that stays flexible and can be easily put in the dishwasher for cleaning. Check the size to make sure it fits the sink hole. I had to pull out my old one after something fell down and had to be pulled out and oh my god the level of meanness underneath was appalling. I'll probably replace them regularly so I never get to that uncomfortable level again!

Third time charm! START WITH IT!

Sounds easy to swap out that black thing in the sink above the garbage chute, right? Well after a few tries with smaller products ๐Ÿ™„ I finally bought this and voila! Quickly and easily clicked straight into the sink without pushing things down the drain without spilling! It was very easy to install and works great! Seriously, don't waste your time with others - get straight to the point! Great product - Oh and I have no idea why some people are talking about trimming or trimming it in theโ€ฆ
