Fixed the rear air conditioner in 20 minutes.

So easy to install. Ease of installation. The part worked perfectly. I found a tutorial on YouTube and it took me less than 20 minutes to fix my rear air conditioner with no mechanic experience! In stock. I wanted to point that out. I haven't used it, but the company emailed me after I got some of the setup help via the man pages. I don't need it but thought it was cool that they would try to help you install it. Beyond that IMO. Highly recommended!

A/C Blows Cold good for blowers

This part was easy to install and took less than 2 minutes. My rear air conditioner started working immediately with no problems. It even improved the overall performance of my air conditioner. I would definitely order from the same company again if I had to replace this part. I'll see if I need any other parts and they supply them. The cost of this was great as I checked out a few auto parts stores that were ridiculously expensive. Thank you for your honesty and promptness. You definitely have

TURN CLOCKWISE to remove the old part!

Very easy to apply. Just make sure you turn the old part clockwise - watch the YouTube video if you have questions. The hardest part was removing the wiring harness from the old part. I didn't want to pull on the wires so I had to use a very small screwdriver to pry the tab on the left/front side of the wiring harness. If you have a 90 degree selection, this is a no-brainer. If you can detach the wiring harness then no tools are really required - the wires are not long enough to remove the part

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

DIY Rear Heater/Air Repair for 2004 Honda Pilot

Part repairs rear heater/air. Access is from the driver's side via the center console. There is a plastic panel next to the bottom that snaps into place. Move the driver's seat all the way back and begin removing the panel next to the firewall. There is a tab that the carpet grabs onto and the rest of the attachment points are plastic tabs that snap into the console. Find a fan. Note: It's behind a metal grille that may be covered in dirt. Vacuum the screen. A few inches to the right of the fan

The fan stayed on and wouldn't turn off when the A/C wasn't in use

I installed this part on a 2003 Honda Pilot because I wanted to see if a simple resistor change would fix my fan, it did not work. It was a cheap part so I took the risk of replacing a more expensive fan. Replacing this part didn't work so I decided to replace my existing fan with one from a junkyard which solved my fan problem. However, after about a day or two, I noticed that my fan was running constantly, even when the air conditioner was off. I replaced the new resistor with the one I…

The fan has turned on but cannot control the speed.

I was very excited when I received this product because I bought an Acura MDX with a supposedly bad fan. After installation, I started the car and the fan started spinning immediately. This made me jump for joy because I thought it was fixed. I went to the back of my car and was feeling successful until I realized I couldn't control the fan speed (the fan stayed at max even with the front fan turned off). After 2 months of swapping other parts and wiring diagrams, I found that the part I…

Update in 2 months

Update: 10/27/2021 After a 2-month waiting period. The seller sent a replacement unit. I installed it and now the air conditioner works great. Thanks for the great customer service. The seller responded to my email and the request to inform me quickly and constantly about the device because there was a defect. The replacement unit looks like an OEM, much better quality and stronger than what was originally sent to me.Original: 08/02/2021This product did not work. Bought for a rear air…

Part didn't work (poor QAQC)

I bought this part because it had a lifetime warranty and was intended as a direct replacement for OEM parts. When I received it I inspected it and it was almost the same (just a color difference on the outside). When I installed it hoping my rear air conditioner wouldn't burn out, I was very disappointed. And since this was a new part, I started testing other possible faults. I purchased a replacement fan motor and relay even though the original units have been tested to work. I finally went…
