DIY Rear Heater/Air Repair for 2004 Honda Pilot

Part repairs rear heater/air. Access is from the driver's side via the center console. There is a plastic panel next to the bottom that snaps into place. Move the driver's seat all the way back and begin removing the panel next to the firewall. There is a tab that the carpet grabs onto and the rest of the attachment points are plastic tabs that snap into the console. Find a fan. Note: It's behind a metal grille that may be covered in dirt. Vacuum the screen. A few inches to the right of the fan is a resistor. Unplug the electrical connector from the resistor, then twist the resistor into a "bayonet mount" and unplug.

Pros
  • Great for Outdoor Activities
Cons
  • Expensive
