Works well - Special household appliances

Works well. Sometimes I lift the pump and bag off the table to ensure a better seal. Basically I lift the corner of the bag and hold the pump right on top of the circle.

No loss of suction: special equipment

It's amazing. They are easy to use and work well. Perfect suction power without loss. I use it in the fridge and freezer without losing suction. I clean them and use them again. My manual food tray easily slides over the suction port.

They are not bad, the best in special engineering

I bought them mainly for vegetables in the fridge or chicken in the freezer. The first one I used for broccoli, I noticed a few days ago that it wasn't vacuum sealed. The broccoli still looked fresh, but next time I'll be sure to check for leaks three times. Maybe I just didn't seal it all the way and ended up getting air in, but I was wondering if it could be the bag as well.

You're Fine - Specialty

I Think You Get What You Pay For? I've had no luck with branded products either. If I can get them to vacuum I think I'm fine, but usually after about 2 weeks I find that they start to puff up again. I'm not sure if this is user error or not. I like that they come in large sizes, are easy to write on and feel very thick, which is nice. I haven't had any leaks, I just can't vacuum them.

Terrific! Best in Specialty

I had another brand that was much more expensive and didn't work as well as this one. Just use a small plastic key to close the top of the zipper. Position the pump over the valve (you may have to wiggle it a bit to position it correctly). When the bag is fully vacuumed, squeeze the valve to close it to prevent air from being sucked back into the bag. It works and the pockets hold up pretty well. So far I've only had one bad bag that didn't work properly.

Give me a minute to get started

I love these bags. I vacuum pack charcuterie, ginger, herbs and anything else I want to keep in the fridge longer. I put my cured meats in a storage bag (not fully sealed) and then put it in a vacuum bag. When I seal the vacuum bag, air is also removed from the storage bag. And I don't have to worry so much about reusables not being cleaned perfectly. I clean them but I know the corners are good because of the juices which I might not have cleaned completely if I put the food straight into the…

DO NOT BUY cheap valves that lose vacuum!

I've been using them for 3 weeks now and my overall experience with them has been good or not. Of all the pouches I received, 4 didn't seal at all and after a week of use about half of the remaining had sealing issues. I took out one of the packages which was well sealed the day before, but the next day it was opened, like a regular ziplock bag. Very disappointed as the price wasn't bad.
