I love this jacket for my Pitti mix. She weighs 41 pounds, has a 17 inch neck and a 27 inch chest. Ordered it large and it fits perfectly. The chest is by far the most important part to measure. There is no room for adjustments. It's light and warm. The quality seems good too. The material seems to rip or rip if you have a dog that goes into thick woods where it can get snagged on something. I would say more on-road than off-road. Overall great jacket, arrived 3 days earlier than expected.

I measured and tried on the old Benny before ordering the large and it is too tight. He's a 43-pound Labra bull and fits him for the most part, but is too tight around the neck! I don't think he would like to wear it regularly. So. has to return dog hair again. (I know we could go to XL but I think it would be too big for him and too long, from head to toe.) The coat looks good when you get it, but the velcro is a weak link. The coat fits my dog well - it's not tight, it fits how you want it. Got a large for a 50# Schnauzer and it's almost perfect. About every one to two quarters of a year I have to close the front Velcro again. I will sew onto a stronger velcro so it will hold better.
