A great 3D modeling and computer simulation program

The ability to use it in conjunction with other programs like Solidworks, Auto CAD etc., makes this software very versatile as well easy to learn when compared to others out there. I have used many CAM systems over my career but none compare so far from being able to easily import files into multiple different applications. It's an all around tool once you get familiarized using its capabilities. There are some things about certain features which could be made better such as importing parts…

Pros
  • Can read almost any file format
  • Easy interface without needing advanced computer knowledge
  • Ability To Import Parts Directly Into Application (Easily Editable And Adjustable) Without Going Through Additional Steps.
  • Lots Of Useful Tools On TopOf That For CNC Machining
Cons
  • Empty

Very powerful tool once mastered: RhinoCAM

My favorite feature - with this, you can easily draw your line in 2D to create complex geometry from simple shapes like box / sphere etc., The material properties are very accurate which was surprising considering how easy it's supposed to be just using this software! It requires good RAM as well but I guess they have now fixed those memory problems by updating with more cores. Sometimes its bit cumbersome when working along side other programs or having some open documents while doing drafting

Pros
  • The software is easy to use and the interface is very clean and intuitive
Cons
  • Sometimes its bit cumbersome when working along side other programs or having some open documents while doing drafting work so try getting everything done together then export them into CAD where all errors will get caught automatically unlike paper work only approach :) I have not found any other features that
