It's not worth it! make your own

DO NOT BUY, MAKE IT YOURSELF. Installed on 400ex. If your stem is stock then this mount will need to be heavily modified. Also, it's $10 cheaper on other sites, which I didn't realize until I bought it. For $33 I'd rather make my own. It would be easier to make one than to change this one.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • High Price

Good product for steering wheel lights if you want one.

I used this on my Wolverine 06 450, the only downside is I had to get my key switch to work because on my bike you also have a mount at the top of the handlebars, not the one Bottom. But it has good coverage and is solid, made in one piece. This is a good solution for ATVs that don't have a light that moves with the handlebars.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

Excellent fit, fits light bars

Fits perfectly on my 07 400ex. I used an 8" Rough Country lightbar with this mount and it worked well, it's thin enough to bend your arms for a little extra width and strong enough to handle while riding . As long as I like it there have been no issues except I couldn't reuse the stock dash without modifications and didn't want to do anything to the mount so I bought a Rox dash and it worked great.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Upgrades

Quick and easy installation

This bracket makes it very easy to mount the light bar on your steering wheel. If you don't feel comfortable making your own mount, just order it. Even if it doesn't fit right out of the box, it should be a lot easier to change than make it from scratch. I will say that I expected better materials from Rigid. My bracket arrived quite bent but it was very easy to bend it back into shape as the metal is very malleable. I expected it to be much harder! This approval is a compromise. This makes it…

  • Free for educational purposes

  • Doubtful

As with all things, sometimes you need to change it into.

Like all things, sometimes you need to adapt it to your application, but will you also get a lightbar mount for an off-road bike? No, where. So I need to create a template based on 1 1/8 large bar clamps and use that template to line up the new hole template on the rigid mount. I use white spray paint, lightly cover the back of the bottom of the board, then drill white holes so you can't tell if they're big enough or too low or right/left. I think you got the idea. I then use longer metric…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works well but needs modification for your ATV

The mount is mostly universal. I am using it on a Honda TRX 450r with a stock handlebar and aftermarket 1 1/8" handlebar clamps. The mount is designed to attach to handlebar clamps or to stem mounting bolts. The picture is misaligned and will match not together. I ended up cutting out the center of the bracket and trimming the edges to attach each side of the bracket to the clamp/stem bolts on the underside of the stem.Of course I lost some strength in the bracket in the process, but it still…

Pros
  • Excellent performance in general
Cons
  • I won't say anything
