Fits well, tried to take it off several times and survived the fall on the river rocks. This year I didn't deal with numbers.

Good item but wish it had an extra number 1. Not that my dog would need it but I see other people need it when they are 11 years old grow old old. Except for this lucky buy!

This crown was very cute. But I didn't have a glue stick so I just had to use tape. It worked for a few seconds but it was only to take a picture. My dog didn't like it, but I'm not sure every dog will like it. A very beautiful thing.

This crown is more charming in person. It is very well made of durable material and I followed another review's recommendation and tied the chin strap to fit my small dog's head. :) I had no intention of using numbers so I would have bought the hat anyway. So for me they were kind of a bonus to use as part of the decoration.

My little girl stopped traffic here and she's 17 for a reason! Worth noting is the mini glue stick which is useless because you should have a glue gun which few of us have. I had to trim the numbers to make it work and also trim the elastic. If you're smart you can get by, but regular nail glue or lead glue won't work. You will need Elmer's Glue. I was thinking of returning it but it worked and as you can see from the picture it was worth it.

What is not visible in the photos is that I could easily glue it and do it myself. Speaking of glue, there is no glue, no glue, no sticky material. So I, who lives in an apartment and doesn't drive a car, had to order glue that didn't even work. It's cute and if you have a hot glue gun it might work. But it will be work. You'll also see a huge line on the back where everything is glued together. It doesn't look as cute as in the photo. I'll add a photo soon when I get home.
