These lights are attractive and affordable, but the main arm slips out of the swing arm when you move it. Because they're designed to be pushed around by the bed for reading when needed, it's very annoying that they keep slipping out. The suspension bolts were also inadequate, breaking in half after a few months of use. Use your own screws and washers for strength and don't expect to be able to reposition the fixings.

Looks good until you dig deeper. We bought two and one came with a cord which was a little tough but still works. In fact, upon reflection, the light switches aren't in the same place on both lights either, so hanging them next to each other looks silly. None of the cables are the same length. They have nothing in common. They are a lot bigger than I expected so be sure to read the sizes and measurements.

First of all I really like this lamp. This is exactly the look I wanted and was very excited to try on. I ordered "used like new" from an amazon warehouse who said the box was damaged but everything else was fine. It had no fasteners, that's okay too, it's easy to fix. However! I installed everything and it looked great! I wanted to screw in a lightbulb, but there wasn't a damn cartridge! There is a piece of metal and a screw. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was very impressed with their quality when they arrived. They are heavy and strong. I was also surprised at how insanely easy they are to install. How super easy. The switch for them isn't at the top, it's a toggle switch about 2-2.5 feet down the cord. I improvised and just used a cable cap, cut around the switches and then painted the cable cap. Being a "Revain brand" these things are cheap and potentially dangerous despite the price. I bought 2 of these lamps and had no problems with the first one until I started rotating it and the bottom of the bracket fell out of the assembly (see photo).
