    MEN'S ROCKPORT M7100 PRO WALKER

    Expected more from Rockport. Have had a pair for years and they still wear well but are worn. I ordered them but they didn't fit. They were too tight around the arch and ankle. The workmanship is also not as good as the old ones. Had to go back to get a wider fit. Haven't received a replacement yet. Hope it works.

    I think the shoes are ok. The quality is good except for the insole that comes with it. My toes are paper thin so it felt like walking barefoot on concrete. I bought new insoles and now they feel better. I definitely can't sneak into her. The boots make a dull clacking noise. Not the clatter of classic shoes, but a more emptied sound, if that makes sense. The laces are not bad. The language is a bit short as other reviewers have said, but that doesn't bother me too much.     Not nearly as good as before

    I've been going for walks for 25 years. I walk between a mile and a half to three miles every day, depending on mood and weather. These were the first shoes I bought when I started and I wore them for the first 6 or 8 years until I decided to upgrade. Lastly I'm wearing Brooks Addiction Walkers, great shoes but expensive - about double what they cost. Two months ago I decided to return to these M7100s as I felt exceptionally economical.     Ouch! Walking in Walking

    I've always bought a Rockport Walker and have never had a problem getting it right away and wearing it for the next 12 or so 14 hours. felt like they had been cracked on arrival before that time! I have ordered a variety of shoes of this basic type (e.g. lace-ups, walking shoes, rockports) and have returned every pair.     I have owned at least one pair of these shoes in the last ten years. Now I have three pairs. The last order arrived and as soon as I put it on I noticed the difference. Shoes felt stiffer, with less malleable materials. What I originally considered to be his main attribute has disappeared.     Wow these aren't shoes I've bought in the past

    NOTE. These aren't the Pro Walkers you've been buying for years. Note the lack of a logo on the heel. DO NOT buy these shoes to replace a worn pair. These are NOT the shoes that the Pro Walkers have made a staple in many people's wardrobes over the years. This shoe is now only suitable for lawn mowing if it is a small lawn. If you want the fit, comfort and durability you're used to, you need to look to Rockport Crafted athletic shoes. Save yourself the process of returns and disappointment.

    Leather from India is not real leather

    I had the same shoes with the Made in Vietnam label. It fit well and didn't hurt my feet. But I knew Rockport played in more than one country. This pair was marked 'Made in India'.     Wheat color is fading

    I've been buying hiking shoes from this brand for many years, but lately the quality of the shoe's color fastness seems to have dropped. I bought my last pair in March 2018 and after a few months the wheat color started to fade revealing a white husk.
