Ideal for cutting marble tiles!

I used this saw blade in my Porter Cable 4 1/2 inch saw to cut marble tile mosaic panels. I couldn't cut these panels with a wet saw because the adhesive used to attach the tiles to the mesh backing quickly dissolved, causing the panel to fall apart. So I had to dry cut the sheet instead. This blade did the job perfectly! Very clean cut with no chips. Remember to wear respirator, eye and hearing protection.

Pros
  • For use with Rockwell RK3441K compact circular saw
Cons
  • Minor issues

Don't waste money.

Look, if you need something cheap, inexpensive, and portable to cut something very light, like thin ceramic or even cement board, I'm sure you have it will help.Slightly more than the hard porcelain I tried it on Fa-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah!On the first cut it caught fire a fiery red colour, began to deform and a curved line and the tile broke horribly I have been installing tile for 45 years and wanted something portable not this.

Pros
  • Rockwell Diamond Saw Blade 4-1/2" 60#
Cons
  • Nothing

I bought this blade for cutting porcelain stoneware and so far it has worked great, obviously not as good as a wet tile cutter but didn't want to hire it to make a few cuts , but you definitely want to do it outside because cutting porcelain stoneware creates a large amount of dust, just as cutting any other type of tile is likely to be.

Pros
  • #60 Segmented diamond grit design for effective dry cutting
Cons
  • Blank
