Roku wouldn't turn on at first. Spent a lot of time reading and rereading instructions. Replaced the power cord with my own and turned the Roku on. Then the remote wasted a lot of time again and wouldn't connect. Returned the block and bought a NEW unrenovated block. Because the Roku worked, instillation was quick and easy. A lot of time wasted on a bad block.

I have another Roku that I've never had a problem with but got this one because we were adding a TV to the house. This Roku needs to re-sync with the remote every time you turn it on. Almost identical to Roku Express. I bought one of each and the only difference I can see is that the Roku Stick remote has a microphone. The mic is great, but not great.
