Not as good as it looks

My gate weighs less than 100 pounds. And the rubber on the wheel has already torn. I don't think it will last as long as he claims.

Beautiful OTHER! Best among pool rollers

MODERN LOOK Awesome! CHEAP BREAK COMPLETELY destroys the use it doesn't install and the metal bent trying to install it. Does the caster still move when set?

Be prepared to buy different bolts

Not sure why it came with a bolt and nut combo and not bolts so luckily I had extra bolts and could they fasten gates to their wood. Plus it does exactly what I want it to do.

When I bought this for my wooden picket fence many reviews of different models seemed to suggest that the weight of the door was grossly overpriced. So I settled on the 5 inch model, thinking it would fit my £50 door. Wrong is too much, and a 4 inch model would suffice. Very satisfied!

Ideal for driveway gates

After buying a few other wheels that didn't fit this is perfect. I specifically wanted one with a locking mechanism to lock the gate in high winds or if our dogs hit it. Assembly was easy, in the end I only had to use two screws from the kit (see photo) as the gate is not very heavy. I'll attach it later if needed. Can't say anything about durability yet as it's only been a month, but first impressions are good. Will be updated if anything negative comes up.

Very strong spring - needs a strong caterpillar

Excellent gate support wheel. My gate now rises to the ideal locking position and I don't have to pull it up. Most gates sag over time and this wheel solves the problem once and for all. The mount is rated for very heavy loads and the included screws are long enough to go through a 4x4. The wheel (5 inch) spins easily on a roller bearing, but you must provide a solid surface for it to roll. In mud, it tends to dig in and stop sideways when changing direction.
