good but not great - lighting and studio

I give 5 stars because the product is good but the price is too high! The flash works well when the subject is within 5-6 feet, the light is not as strong as it looks. There are definitely better options for less $$$. Let's not talk about the trigger being ridiculously expensive too! Excellent seller!

Reliable light but first know what you are looking for

I love Rotolight, just wish they would lower the price on their accessories. This light is built to last, just find out the wattage you need before purchasing. This light will NOT help you in bright sunlight, it is not designed for that. But if you want a reliable constant light that you can also carry around to point at the camera, this guy is great. I hope to get Anova Pro 2 one day!

It offers very good light and the ability to adjust the temperature is nice.

Not as much light as shown in marketing videos etc. This light WILL NOT fight against the sun. This is used as a "fill light" in outdoor lighting conditions. Works well in the dark or in low light conditions. It gives off very good light and it's nice to be able to regulate the temperature. I've had some issues with this mode staying in sync with my shutter speed when using it in flash or strobe mode. I have a SONY A6000 and a Godox trigger and receiver to communicate with.
