Round Laces For DailyShoes Hiking Boots Review

The laces failed after less than one month of use. I suffered a tear in the outer layer (nylon?) that resulted in the outer sheath separating from the inner rope. To be fair, I cannot be sure that this was a defect in the lace sheath tensility or that I simply caught a snag on something while out hiking as these are after all, hiking boot laces. But considering that I spent way too much time trying to select a pair of boot laces on Revain, I had high hopes that these would be a winner.

Product functions totally fine. Even though these were the least expensive leaves I could find with prime 2-day shipping, it still seems rather steep that I paid over $6 for them.

These laces were a near identical match to the laces I replaced in my Columbia lightweight hikers. Now to see how well they hold up. So far, so good.

These kept coming untied on a 4 day trek on the Inca Trail. Having to stop every couple of hours for 4 days to re-tie was annoying.Not good for hiking, would probably be fine for running or other sports that are less intensive/extended.

shoelaces are good quality, are just the right length, and delivery was fast. I love them. Now I know where to get replacement shoelaces for my hiking boots. Thanks!

These looked cool and seemed to hold a knot ok. They however did not hold up on my Merrell hiking boots. It was only a matter of a couple of months before the outer layer started to separate from the inner layer. The hiking boots do have a somewhat sharp piece that the shoelace runs through, but the original laces had held up for 3 years before needing replaced.

These are nice shoelaces that should hold up well. I do wish there was a darker gray color available since my sneakers are medium to dark gray and these are a little too white to look like the originals. No other mfg seems to make a true gray sneaker shoelace either, so I am out of luck on that issue.

I've had one of these pairs for 2-3 years, now, and they're doing great. I thought one was starting to fail about 6 months ago, so I ordered another set, but the original is still going strong. I'm using these on a pair of REI hiking shoes.

The size chart said that 5 eyelets on the shoe should have a 36" lace. These laces are barely long enough to tie. I'd recommend the longer size for 5 eyelets.

I got tired of always having to tie my golf shoes laces again and again during a round of golf. These laces looked great with my shoes and I only had to tie them once.

Perfect fit and color match as describes and used by the cheap shoe company that made my hiking boots I bought at Payless Shoe Store. Will eventually buy again since these $35 no-name hiking boots have lasted longer than two different pairs of Alpine brand hiking boots I had.

54" is perfect for Redwing Iron Rangers. The laces are a little larger diameter than the OEM laces, but they fit the eyelets fine and are much more supple than the stiff ones that come with the boots. I liked them so well in blue/grey that I immediately placed another order for red/black.

Excellent laces. Replaced some orange/black laces in a pair of Vans high tops with these black/orange. Still coordinate with the shoes but not so garish that I can't wear them in any situation. Measured the old ones and then ordered a length that would match.

The first pair I received had a tear in them. The replacement is of good, sturdy quality. They are quite thin for hiking boots but I found that this makes it a lot easier to tighten them, as it causes less friction.

Extremely long, but that's not a big deal as I can tie and wrap them around my boots. Durable, and they look pretty cool on my hiking boots. Can't be beaten for the price.

Bought for an old pair of Ecco hiking boots. After measuring the laces that were on the boots I knew what size to get. These seem to be well made and don't untie. Also the color matches the boots perfectly. I would buy again.

Really good quality. I bought it for my sneakers because I have really high insteps and the regular size sneaker laces don’t work well for me. This worked really well and the color is adequate for many of the sneakers I have.

These laces were about 2 inches shorter than the original Merrell lacs; however have more elasticity. They work just fine!

I purchased these not knowing what type of laces I needed. I purchased a new pair of Hi-Tec hiking boots and they showed up with a almost totally broken shoelace?I wanted to wear them and ordered these in a hurry just to wear my new boots.They are ok but to thin and come untied often. They are a good shoelace but probably better on a lighter weight type shoe.They work and again are ok but a bit to thin for hiking boots but probably work great on a lighter urban type boot.

You do not realize how long shoelaces are to you replace them. This length is shorter than the original length (should have measured) but they fit and work perfectly. They feel and look like the original laces that came with the shoes.
