Good quality and easy to use.

I've wanted a set for a long time, but I was willing to pay Craig's price. I'm glad I found them for about half the price of their competitors. They are of good quality and accurate enough for woodworking. However, I expected a better case. All in all I would happily recommend them.

How did I live without her?

I'm new. I don't know how accurately they compared the 2 Kreg kits, but good enough for me. I love her. So comfortable. I mainly use it on my router table. Please refer to the user manual 2 how to use the different tabs and notches 2 to take different types of measurements. I don't know how I lived without her. Good product!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Looks good and feels solid

Bands are clearly marked and feel solid. Nice case that you won't open upside down like some out there. I used a 3/8" rod to adjust the leveling screws on my Kreg table: it worked perfectly. Using the depth gauge, according to the table's instructions, I was able to set eight screws exactly 3/8" below the table top. . This meant that when I screwed my precision down, it was already at 99.5% and could easily be adjusted to perfection These bars have already proven themselves!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Security

Close, but no cigar.

So I wanted them to be accurate. And I wanted them to be of good quality. Unfortunately, the only good thing is the value. They are marked to within 1/1000th of an inch. However, most were/are 4/1000 smaller. This means that the 1/2" or .500" rod was actually .4965" long (measured using both digital and standard calipers; see images). Remember that a sheet of carbon paper is .0030". long so they are very different This is NOT a big issue when working with wood but you should state your…

A handy little set at a better price than the competition.

A nice little set at an affordable price. Made from aluminum and has a clear print. An underrated case, but I didn't buy it for a case. I am always skeptical of items cheaper than the unbranded competition but I was not disappointed. You usually get what you pay for and this product surprised me. It's still an expensive item, but you won't find it any cheaper as there are few items that compare (except for the all-in-one type, which I have 5 of and never use). If you're a craftsman like me…

  • One year trial

If precision doesn't matter, that's great, but then why would you use it?

I thought I could save a few bucks on Craig's set, but I shouldn't have. They are every 0.020-0.010 inches from the correct (and marked) measurement. Check out the photos I've attached of my digital caliper measurements which register to within 0.0005 inches, that's all that matters, then just save your money and use a tape measure - it'll probably get you closer but if you want it accurate or maybe other measurements in your project consist of "Spitting Distance" or "oh-oh-so-very big" then…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
