My name is Jet and I love sharpening pencils!

Took me two months and it really contributes to my insanity that my kids always have enough sharpened pencils for school. I sharpen all of their pencils at least twice a week and make sure they always have at least 7 sharpened pencils in their pencil cases. I had no problem quickly sharpening 14 pencils twice a week. I've found that to be very quick it's better to hold the razor door securely with your thumb because if the door isn't fully closed the safety mechanism won't let the sharpener…

High quality sharpener.

You can find cheaper sharpeners, but they cost more to replace. Our first worked for decades and was recommended to us by an elementary school teacher. This is a quality device worth every penny. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the one sent to us came boxed with a USPS tag and the bottom was broken. We replaced our old one that we legally broke. The packaging leads me to believe it was broken in the transept and someone at the USPS repackaged it as it was just a sharpener and not…

Pros
  • Stationery
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good (with limitations) less than a month

On the first purchase (about 2 weeks) it made a great point, the kids liked it; It was fast and they liked the signal light. Within a month, the pencils were sharpened unevenly, the tips broke off. Now he is about 3 months old and he grabs, stops, creaks, breaks a piece of wood. The only thing I didn't like at all from the start was that the pencil size dial is very flimsy and cheap, it moves in circles. a lot, and I had to secure it with duct tape (not very uncomfortable but looks tasteless)…

Pros
  • Pencil sharpener
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
