    and still looks as good as day one

    I bought this to make gnocchi after attending a cooking class in Italy three years ago. I was so excited. Problem is I haven't made the gnocchi yet (wife is still complaining about it). But the product is well made, sitting in our kitchen drawer and still looking as good as the day I received it.

    Sturdy and a good size in the kitchen and dining room

    Very durable at the moment, I use it cheesecloth lined to squeeze water out of my Trader Joe, pre-roasted cauliflower to make keto crust pizzas and pies . My hands hurt a lot just squeezing out water with gauze. It took a few tweaks, but I can't fit an entire 12-ounce bag of Trader Joe's gauze-lined rice cauliflower in it and it does the job. removes excess water very well.

    She was glad to receive it when she broke her last 2.

    Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter for her efforts in making Lefsa. She was glad to receive it when she broke her last 2 reefers. It is assumed that this will be a "heavy" version. It seems well made and much larger than their previous ones. I'll have to go back to update this after she uses it. Delivery was very quick and it was well packaged. So far, so good.

    Blow out the racer and give your hands a good workout.

    Okay, yes it's big, but it works. When I make potato dishes, I don't break them up, so a puree or soup usually weighs about 10 pounds. for now. It goes through them really, really fast. Sturdy, wide grid just the right size. Yes, compressing is expectedly a bit tiring, but a normal person can't handle it. The speed tradeoff is worth it. Easy to clean and looks high quality.

    I bought this for one reason: to squeeze the excess liquid out of salted vegetables. I make a lot of Asian dumplings that call for salty chopped Chinese cabbage, which oozes a lot of liquid and needs to be squeezed dry. My old way of wrapping towels ruined several towels and tired my weak hands. A whole head of salted cabbage fits into such a large container. It works like a charm and I LOVE IT.     I've had this potato rice maker for over a year and it helps me make very smooth and creamy mashed potatoes. It replaced a cheap supermarket model I bought years ago that was much smaller and had rusted over time. I put it in the dishwasher (even on the bottom shelf!) and it looks brand new.     Great for a "liquid press " difficult to use like a real rice machine

    It's larger than the standard rice cooker and the pot stand is a great feature. I actually bought this as a sort of 'squeezer' to squeeze the liquid out of the potato racks for potato pancakes etc and it works great for this purpose as it fits on all the shelves I need at once rather than multiple grids too make.
