🥣 Rubbermaid Large Modular Cereal Keeper: The Ultimate Storage Solution Review

I needed an airtight dog food container that could be kept in the kitchen. I am so happy with the cereal container that does its job perfectly! I have a large Rottweiler so I bought 2 of these. I keep a huge bag of groceries in the garage so I don't have to go back and forth every time. Two things I love are how easy they are to hold. Second, the lid of the spout remains open.

Not suitable for those with small hands or grip problems. Not sure if it's dishwasher safe? Due to its size, it may be too small for a dishwasher. The flip-top is easy to use and easy to put on "backwards", making the plastic difficult to hold. A strange thing. It breathes easily and prevents the flakes from getting wet, as is often the case with lined boxes. If you like these, they come in all sizes. Recommended.

I've never thought of buying a cereal container because the ants started crawling into the pantry and I wanted to seal the cereal before they got inside. This is a great container and easy to use. I bought these for cereal but they are not airtight. I washed them before first use, put some water in, put the lids on and watered to see if they would leak and yes the water came out right away. If water is allowed to escape, air can get into the stale flakes. (I also bought a few containers of OXO Good Grips Airtight Cereal and did the same test and they did NOT leak. This container is perfect for large amounts of sugar, which is why I ordered it. I bought a very large 10lb bag of sugar and it didn't fit in any of my regular containers so I ordered this one and it fit the headroom perfectly. I bought three of these from Costco (blue). They are ALMOST identical. Costco had loose labels and no stickers. The difference in functionality is that Costco has a distinct click when closing the small lid. As viewed, the top hem of the Costco is about twice as long. I have spent 2 hours of my life removing the label from this product. Not only was it impossible to remove the paper component without scraping and scraping a little, the entire label (and the additional flip-top sticker) left a sticky residue that was almost impossible to peel off.
