🐾 Rubie's Ewok Pet Costume - Star Wars Inspired Review

This costume is a two piece and my dog didn't like the head but honestly he hates stuff on his head. It wasn't the best design either. My dog only wore the photo suit (1 hour max) and the seams on his ears came undone. I'm not sure if that's how it happened and I didn't realize it, or if it happened in time. In general I'm happy. It fits very well and is very cute. I would buy from them again. For reference, my dog is 12 pounds and I bought medium.

Lyric doesn't need a suit to look like an Ewok, but if you're going to a party you need a suit! I bought her a size down, she's about 7 pounds. It was a comfortable fit as both the front and back legs are in a dark brown section, you need to make sure you order the correct back length. She measures 12" from collar to base of tail, suit measures 11". The hood has a drawstring at the edge so you can customize it. Nicely done.

I found the medium sized suit to fit my 11 lb Shih Tzu. I didn't feel like the hood was too big like many have said, I just tightened the drawstrings around his face a little. The body of this medium sized suit fits my almost ten pound Havana dog like a glove (fits him just about) and velcro at the bottom with no room to grow. The hood part was wrong. The fabric and cut are a bit cheap but for the price it's a cute little costume that definitely reminds me of these little denizens of Endor. I would appreciate a little more detail and embellishment, but it's actually fine. However, my issue is the fit of the headgear. Which doesn't necessarily have to be a fault on the part of the manufacturer, but I should have noticed. Cute and perfect fit. The only modification I made was cutting out the ears to allow my dog's ears to stick out. We used it in a local Star Wars parade.
