This is exactly what I was looking for. They are very easy to put on and look very good. I didn't notice any difference when closing the doors. I got a little scared when I read that some people say that the door closes harder and water is likely to get in. I don't think my door closes otherwise and I haven't seen any moisture seeping under the door yet. I've never submerged in water, so I don't know if they're really waterproof. I assume they work well for 99% of people.

Just installed them on our new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They fit perfectly! I'm not sure if anyone can have problems with 3M double sided tape. Follow the instructions and they will be permanently installed! Clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol or something that will remove film, dirt, etc. Peel the plastic off the tape, peel off BOTH pieces of tape, then flatten the piece and stick on. Start at one end and work your way down. Press firmly up and down on the piece so it sticks well…

Love how they look! They appear to be factory and I'm baffled by the fact Jeep doesn't provide them from the start. Protects when entering and exiting and offers additional support. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because after installing it on my 17 year old Wrangler you can see a hair sticking out at the bottom of the door. I like the high quality of this product. I would 100% recommend buying them if you have a 2 door JK. If you have a 4-door (unlimited). this is not for you There is a 4-door kit for $39.99. Easy to install, does what it says. Protects door sills from scratches, bumps, etc. Feels solid in the hand and holds up great after a few months in the jeep. I asked myself: Why doesn't Jeep just ship its already installed product? I then dove into the muddy water and to my horror my insides were flooded even though the water was only 2-3 inches above the bottom of the door. I can't prove it, but I believe the black door sill kit most likely didn't allow the gasket to fully adhere to the door,

Cover and protect door sills from damage, unlike standard door sills which appear to be 'protected' by thick black paint and almost always chip soon after vehicle use. They are secured with double-sided tape, which is appropriate in this case as once installed, they will likely never need to be removed.
