While this set is great for stretching (sort of), it's not a full set to stretch. This set is missing 10g so you'll either have to switch from 12g to 8g or buy a 10g set elsewhere. I did a 12g to 8g stretch, carrying 12g longer and occasionally pulling, and then used the tattoo oil in the 8g set, slowly moving forward. I'm not saying I recommend it, but you can.

Nice gauge set. I bought them in black and got compliments on them. So easy to use if you're new and narrow like me. The bolts keep the gauge in place, and the design of the trim helps even a 14g+ beginner feel part of the fork community. The only thing that bothers me is that I'm missing the size I consider 0 g. I read in the description that there is no 10 gauge so I'm pretty sure these are the pair I'm missing (they aren't marked). However, I can't think of any reason why a size shouldn't be included. This makes no sense as it is well known that missing a size increase will only result in your ears being ripped off. I give this product a low rating because the back shelf doesn't stay screwed. You have to keep checking them and tightening the backs. These are really great tunnels. It doesn't look cheap at all. They are a bit heavier and don't feel like plastic. They screw quite tight and feel secure. The only downside is that it doesn't come with 10g (I know the description says it doesn't).
