No adjustable drawstring

I bought it on purpose because they said it had an adjustable cord. My nephew is tall but skinny and needed adjustable sweatpants, I hope they fit a little.

Pros
  • High waist. The length was great.
Cons
  • thin

Excellent comfort and affordable price.

You can't go wrong with these jogging pants. My ten year old needed warm and comfortable pants to walk around the house and we are very happy with them. We live in a country that has cold weather for only a few weeks of the year, perfect for lounging around the house. Would definitely buy again and would recommend these quality and comfortable sweats to anyone.

Pros
  • softness and comfort. Especially the ankle strap, very nice and comfortable
Cons
  • Too small for big

Good jogging pants. the best in my rating

My son loves this. A lot of brands are just too big (too wide). He's pretty skinny for his age and they fit him. As long as they're great.

Pros
  • Comfortable, fits well and washes well.
Cons
  • I need a new return label and can't get one.

Very big in the legs

Very large in the hips and appears to be sloping down the shorter side. Bought the small size for my 9 year old boy and they fit oddly on them. I keep them for him to lounge around the house, but I won't be ordering them again.

Pros
  • I like that they are open at the bottom and soft material.
Cons
  • While the Dri-Power technology wicks sweat, it may not be ideal for colder weather as the fleece material may not provide enough warmth for some kids.

He has a hole in the back seam the first day he wears them!

These pants look cheap but I thought they would be good for school and play. He wore them to school for 7 hours and the seam ripped at the back. I wish they were of better quality.

Pros
  • Good value for money.
Cons
  • I wanted to try it, but one leg was a few inches longer than the other.

The outer layer of traditional style sportswear

Russell has been making athletic wear and jogging pants and the like longer than I can remember, and I'm not young anymore. This is a good quality 50/50 fabric blend offering overall warmth and value. If it is as expected and the build quality is fully acceptable. Didn't shrink a lot in the wash which is good.

Pros
  • Ordered for 7 years they are perfect and comfortable
Cons
  • Suitable for 4 year old child

Shrink after first wash

I bought these as I have had other Russell products before. Never had a problem before. I washed them before my kid put them on (I always do) and they shrink so much he can't wear them at all. Can't return because they're washed so I'm out of luck. However, I'm going to give it to a child who can carry it, so it's not a total loss.

Pros
  • Grandson loves these pants
Cons
  • The details say "within an elastic drawstring for an adjustable fit"... NO!

10 year old Fav with boys

I like the Russell brand for my son. He is slim and 10 years smaller. The medium size fits him perfectly. I bought them in at least 4 colors. He likes anything he can just pull out of the closet and put on. They held up well after the first wash. They don't have much pizza, but he likes them

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Functionality

Good inexpensive sweatpants with pockets

I bought youth cuts for my skinny 8 years. (66 pounds 53 inches). They are large at the waist and gathered at the bottom. Washable in cold water and hang up. They are mostly polyester though so I doubt they will shrink. Good jogging pants for the price but they run big. Things seem to be good. Save for next baseball season!

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Hard to say

30.5 " inseam

Bought for my husband, men's sweatshirts are too big and long for him. He wears a waist 31, Inseam 29". The waist and hips fit well but they are still too long, about 30.5", he only rolls them up once. If they fit perfectly they would get 5 stars. Washed once so far, doesn't run at all A. As other reviewers say, they are a good weight and well made, albeit laceless.

Pros
  • Dri-Power technology wicks sweat to help keep you warm and dry
Cons
  • I'm texting back

Works well for my high kid!

I have a big child who only wears warm pants. Nice jogging pants are hard to find, but these Russell pants get the job done. They are not closed at the bottom, so they look better than normal jogging pants. They are also large in length for my tall son. If your child is smaller, it may be too long for you, but it's great for us! Don't show your knuckles. He's only 10 but he wears big ones. The waist is a little big for him (but not too much) but the length is perfect!

Pros
  • Elastic waistband with internal drawcord for an adjustable fit
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great quality, better fit than the Starter brand! I bought both brands in the same size for my 13 year old son who is going through a growth spurt. He had been wearing starter joggers for a while and when he needed a size up just to be a little taller I had no hesitation in ordering a size up from the same brand. They shrunk after the first wash and are too short! I then bought these in a comparable size and they are great - they are long enough (with extra length available for further growth…

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • Expensive
