The kit is good and everything but when I ordered I only added 1. Why is the kit only for 1 side? It's all my fault for not watching, but still. In fact, this isn't a $30 product, it's a $60 product. Be aware of this.

This is very handy for a railing with a square bottom and a round top when you don't want to drill the railing and want to work with a round top. Installation was fairly easy and the instructions are well written. The only downside is that for a piece of wood and a few pieces of plastic it seems a bit overpriced considering you can get a very strong gate for not that much money.

Excellent solution for installing a children's gate without drilling the railing. Easy to assemble and install baby gate. The only thing I would like is some options for painting or staining the wooden part when ordering. I would pay more for this option as it would save me time. Before assembly I painted the wood to match the railing.

1 hour 45 minutes to install this gate but I have to say it's strong and I didn't have to drill any holes in my railing. This solution worked great for our traditional railing. I was lucky that everything worked out, I wasn't so sure at first. We've tried other methods to avoid drilling holes in the past, but so far this has been the most reliable solution. Remember you need to buy 2 sets. I have a feeling they should come as a couple but they don't want to sell them.

I used this to install a baby gate on our brand new, unscratched (for now) railing in our new house. The instructions were easy to follow and the product looks great. Although I haven't done it yet, the fact that the plank of wood that comes with it is raw wood makes it easier for me to paint it to match the railing.
