Have you checked out my review?

For the past few years, I've bought cheap hiking shoes because I thought it was the way to go, and they always came off where the upper meets the sole. Time will tell if it was a coup. So far their comfort, fit and water resistance seem really good.

Pros
  • I love the way it laces up (the laces are tight around the heel). Fits perfectly and I had no break-in period.
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with flat feet.

I would buy them again!

They fit great and are very comfortable. Have been hiking, camping, on the water, even used them for off-road cycling (although not recommended) and they perform very well. Since I've been using them a lot lately, I might buy some active insoles from Dr. Scholls to help with support and comfort once wear and tear becomes more apparent.

Pros
  • Specially designed for hiking, these boots offer great support, stability and traction to tackle rough trails and difficult terrain with ease.
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with neuropathy.

Great boots! - my new rating

This is my second pair of Salomon boots. I had a pair of mid-size XA Pro boots and bought them because the XA Pro is no longer made. At first I was concerned that they would fit the XA Pros, but that was unfounded. These are great walking shoes. I bought these a few weeks before my trip to Iceland where good boots are essential if you want to stay safe on the trails. At first they felt a tightness around the ankle, but that went away after a few hikes. We climbed over the waterfall in the…

Pros
  • Great boot for mountaineering and day hikes. Keeps you stable and dry.
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for outdoor activities in extreme conditions.

Ideal for long or one-day hikes.

I wanted to replace my "standard" hiking boots (not suitable for crampons) because the old ones were really very old. Then I searched and tried for a while until I ended up with these. After more than 1 year of experience in more than 30 mountain tours with these shoes, the conclusion is very positive. At the beginning there are small blisters in the heel area, but they quickly disappear. Would buy the shoes again at any time, I am very satisfied with them.

Pros
  • The best running shoes I've ever had. Durable and comfortable.
Cons
  • They may have an unpleasant odor

you like my review

pretty comfortable. right size. Waterproof seems to work. good cushioning and ankle support. good hold. showed up well in a 4 day trip to the mountains; fairly durable but geared more towards comfort.

Pros
  • Well made, good grip and very comfortable. My husband says these boots don't need to be broken in. Great buy for $
Cons
  • The boots can be too stiff for those who prefer more flexible shoes.

Too narrow....!! to my rating.

After less than a dozen uses, both boots developed forefoot leaks. They have been checked as recommended. Very disappointing they cost a lot of money and they are goretex which should be 100% waterproof. I will NOT buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Exactly as described. quality material. Arrived as stated
Cons
  • They may not provide enough grip on steep terrain.

Qualita Salomon - my new review

el Calzado Salomon point hacer senderismo it una guarantee. Ya tenia unas de esta misma marca, pero se han roto del uso. Como han salido tan buenas, he is repetido con la marca.

Pros
  • Good product and service
Cons
  • Boots can be uncomfortable for people with bursitis

Great comfortable walking shoes

Great comfortable walking shoes, this is my third pair and they are oversized including the required size 1/2 where other boots jump from a size 12 to a 13 or 14! Sold!

Pros
  • Ottimo Scarpone, suola che non scivola, Ottimo Gripp su qualsiasi terreno
Cons
  • They can cause blisters, especially during the running-in period.

Great shoe but bought a size up.

After Salomon's disastrous decision to end production of the Conquest GTX Mid, they looked like the only long-distance hiking boots with an 8kg pack that had ankle lacing to avoid knee pain on the descents, but alas. Solomon was wrong again. What could have been a good lightweight boot is almost destroyed by a towbar that is too narrow (much narrower than the Conquest, which was without a doubt the best boot ever). The outer little fingers are pushed inward, causing pain that is felt in the…

Pros
  • Es lo que se ve, para andar
Cons
  • Boots can be too high for some people, causing discomfort in the lower leg area.

and feel good. The hooks at the bottom are very tight

Shoes fit well and feel good. The hooks on the bottom are very tight and require some force to loosen. Especially if you have a bad back. I had to bend them outwards so they were easier to detach.

Pros
  • So comfortable and light. I highly recommend them.
Cons
  • The lacing system can easily break.

Solomon is just great.

Solomon is just great. I had an old version of these boots and it was time to get new ones. They're so comfortable you'll want to wear them every day!

Pros
  • They haven't gone camping yet, but they're comfortable walking around the house.
Cons
  • Boots may not be wide enough for people with large feet.

Fails in harsh environments but is comfortable and waterproof

Comfortable but fall apart after less than 25 miles on hikes (sole and where the sole connects to the boots). The desert rocks made them a bit. Get them for a good price with shoe glue and they're probably worth it - definitely less blistering than my Palladium High Pampas, but they're not as durable. Pretty good in terms of water repellency, but I always wear wool socks no matter how cold it is.

Pros
  • Number introvabile nei negozi, queste sono veramente belle e comode. Mio figlio è soddisfatto..e also io 😀
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with hip problems.

Not waterproof and has an annoying bulge on the inside left.

Unfortunately, I bought these boots for hiking and it was only after a year or so that I realized they weren't waterproof. Stepping into a puddle that barely reached my soles, I immediately felt water soak through. If I hadn't waited so long to test them they would have been sent back to the manufacturer and I would have asked for a refund. Due to the fact that I didn't go hiking, I wore them to work around the house and also noticed a lump on my left foot. Maybe it's the insole but it's very…

Pros
  • De lo mejor que compre, pensan poco y tienen una gran calidad
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with osteoarthritis.

Well, everyone was happy. I think they will wear long and.

I ordered a half size up so I could wear two socks, one of which was wool and the gore-tex wouldn't change much from the box. Well, everyone was happy. I think they will last a long time and well.

Pros
  • Fits as expected. Comfortable boot.
Cons
  • Boots can be too narrow for people with wider feet.

The laces are strong for a reason.

Some reviewers don't like the included laces. I suspect the laces should be some durable synthetic material as the lace buckles on the ankles have small grooves on the inside to keep the laces from slipping and your foot from sliding forward, especially when going downhill. It also allows you to keep the laces tight for a better fit. The laces would wear out quickly if they weren't strong. Shoelaces need to be tied twice as they have a more slippery surface.

Pros
  • It took about a week to break them in. After that it was pure paradise.
Cons
  • They can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive feet.

I waited a few miles before writing this and now I have about 50. Firstly, if you order them be prepared to get new laces straight away. It's a shame for Salomon to put those laces on that boot, the worst thing I've ever dealt with. Went to Walmart and spent $2.57 on some of their download strings and they are great. Shoes need to be broken in a bit before walking out. I wore them to work for about a week and I think it helped a lot. They're quite comfortable right off the bat, but I wouldn't…

Pros
  • They're still breaking, a bit annoyed by the hooks but overall very happy.
Cons
  • They can be difficult to clean

Fantasy: my review

I needed a stable shoe that would help my unstable knees. They are great, for one they come in half sizes. Great for 12.5. In addition, they have excellent arch support. They look good and broke after 3 wears.

Pros
  • The luxurious leather upper is both attractive and functional, offering durability and a stylish look that's perfect for any outdoor enthusiast.
Cons
  • Boots may not provide enough warmth for activities in extremely cold temperatures.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall very satisfied considering the price and use for it

Firstly I was able to buy it for a relatively good deal, not sure if it was my shoe size large or if the seller cleaned up, so my review and thoughts are based on the $70 price tag. I would say it works great for someone like me (an aspiring hiker living in a dry state). While I wasn't able to fully test the Gore-Tex when walking through puddles, I would say my shoe was dry when walking on relatively wet grass. They do an excellent job of eliminating the consequences and pain associated with…

Pros
  • There was practically no break in time, there was a lot of rough hiking in the California woods. No complaints at all
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with high arches.

Ideal for long or one-day hikes.

Fits well with size 13GB, usually wears 12.5GB, wide flat foot, no width issues, made well in Vietnam (but plastic hooks), good rubber heel tread thickness. For the price level you get pretty close to really high quality boots, good value for a good product (only tested about 1 mile out of the box, comfortable out of the box, durable, can't say waterproof) Not I'll say , but like all my nubuck and gortex boots use water repellents, use a Nikwax nubuck and suede protective film.

Pros
  • The lightweight and breathable construction makes these boots comfortable for extended wear, while the GORE-TEX membrane ensures your feet stay dry and comfortable in all weather conditions.
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for people with high insteps.

Infantryman tested and approved

Great boot for everyday use or trail hiking and camping. Did a hike to the North Dome in Yosemite and was covered in snow halfway up and they kept my feet warm. The infantryman is tested and approved.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, great price.
Cons
  • They can be expensive, making them unattainable for some consumers.
