bright colors and good resolution. I'm using the miniDVI-DVI port on my MacBook to connect to the display's DVI port. works very well. and required no installer/driver software (for Mac). The only downside I can think of is the menu buttons in the bar; they do not protrude and are, so to speak, inside the glass. This can make it difficult to find the buttons in low light.

I bought three of these and only one had a partially dead pixel, it's not very noticeable. They are bright with good contrast and colors. The pixel density of 1920x1080 ensures a very sharp picture. I am very happy with these monitors, especially for the price.

All buttons are capacitive (e.g. no tactical buttons that I could feel and press). I didn't really realize how small my screen was (14 inches square) until I got this widescreen. Samsung is definitely a great monitor with beautiful colors. It also has a good tilt range and I really like the touch setting. On/Off buttons.

The product is a good sized screen with excellent color control as Samsung customers know. The only problem is that it has no incline. It sits at an awkward angle, down, and there's no adjustment. It's pretty annoying when sitting at eye level. That's the only downside!

The first one I got in the mail had spooky lines running horizontally from top to bottom, then I called the dealer who is a tech for less, got another one sent out, and the second one also has a burned-in pixel on the screen . that this is a good monitor I would advise you to buy a new one not refurbished. The two I received were refurbished so I expected these issues.

I know nothing about computers. My old (17 inch) Hitachi monitor still worked after 10 years but I needed a bigger screen. Well, my trusty Samung 216BW started flashing a week after I bought an ASUS mobo in January this year, from Revain of course. Tried different sources, different power inputs and after a pointless call to Samsung support I'm back to shopping. I bought this monitor about 15 months ago and it came with a 12 month manufacturer warranty - suspiciously handy for Samsung.

This is my second Samsung monitor. the first is not 1080p. when it went on sale i fulfilled my dream of having 3 identical monitors! On this one I only set the brightness to 75% and it looks fantastic. Works perfectly and has everything I need. My only complaints are simple, the included power cords are SHORT. You cannot walk from the rightmost monitor to an outlet directly behind the leftmost monitor. 2 more feet, come on!

I bought a Samsung 22 inch LCD monitor to connect to my laptop when I work at home. This is the first monitor I've owned - I've always had laptops so I did a little research and settled on this one. I needed a bigger screen than my laptop and it works well as an external monitor. It's not an LED monitor, but it's still lightweight and the screen is very bright (I set it to a lower brightness for my comfort). I bought a Samsung 2343BWX two years ago and it is the best monitor I have ever had. It recently died, Samsung fixed it quickly under a 3 year warranty and I wanted a different monitor for a different computer. I ordered 2 of these monitors. On the one hand, the anti-reflective coating was hardly acceptable with a slightly exaggerated graininess or gloss effect from the coating. The second monitor was significantly worse as the anti-glare coating was significantly different than the first monitor and looked overdone. I bought this monitor on September 16, 2011 for $110 and it worked fine for 3 months until a big pixel problem took up 3/4 of the screen. Where there was once a beautiful image, stationary vertical lines now appear. My main issue is that it was bought in the US and brought to me in Brazil where I live by a friend and I am at loggerheads with the need to fix it or buy a new one here. I'm sure the maintenance will cost more than I paid for it and the taxes to buy a new one are crazy
